Research
At our Society we welcome all enquiries for research.  We realize that due to different circumstances not everyone can get to Gympie to conduct their own research. We have volunteers who dedicate their time to carry out research on the behalf of those needing this service. This can also be a way to get you started on your path to researching your family history.

To engage a researcher there are a couple of options. Provide any information you already have including any dates, spouses, siblings, or other relatives that may assist, and;

1. Post it to the Research Officer, Gympie Family History Society Inc., PO Box 767, Gympie Qld 4570. Please include a stamped self addressed A4 sized envelope for reply with an initial payment of $30.00 within  Australia, $35.00 Overseas. (Our fees are relatively inexpensive and fair); or

2. Bank Depost:
Bendigo Bank
BSB: 633-000
A/C No. 153118963
A/C Name: Gympie Family History Society Inc.
Please include your Full Name as a reference and email the society researcher with your address and details of your research.

3. Email the Research Officer including
any information you already have including any dates, spouses, siblings, or other relatives that may assist and ask about our fee.

Here is our latest list of research information. Please click on the link below to see if we have any information on your family.
